House rules on my game.
Affiliation. Each character at creation chooses one affiliation. These can be to a particular Sect of Religion, Noble House, or Secret Society. They start with a Affiliation level of 1. Each level indicates a higher tier of indoctrination. The higher your tier the more the society will ask the PC to do things as well as well as reward them with better items and more favors.
Potions and Scrolls. Halve the cost when determining the time required.
Bennies / Inspiration.
Instead on having inspiration we are going to have bennies. There are three levels of bennies and they each do different things.
White (Common) : Before a skill or attack roll you can spend it to add +2 to the die result. You can also spend it after the roll to add +1. You can also spend this to make a successful death save instead of rolling.
Red (uncommon) : You can spend this to gain advantage as long as you spend it before rolling. You can also spend it to stabilize instead of making a death save.
Blue (rare) : You can spend this to give the GM disadvantage as long as you spend it before rolling. You can also spend it to stabilize and gain 1 HP instead of making a death save.
